The C.W. Jefferys boys soccer team said that although he is extremely proud of each of his players and that they all represented the city well, he wanted to bring special attention to the "Heart and soul of the team," Dion Isaacs, the team's captain and recipient of its leadership award, Miguel Coreas, who has twice received their most valuable player award, Gift Tjaveondja, who was the team's best defender, Nathan Tallow, their goalkeeper and Fabio Rivera, their hardest worker on the field.Melikhan also wanted to thank community coach and C.W. Jefferys graduate Oswald Adu who volunteered a lot of his time to help the team prepare for the Ontario championships."Oswald still plays soccer on a very high level and the boys learned a lot from him," Melikhan said.
